1 . What are the departments Chennaiplaza.com has?

Chennaiplaza.com is a Virtual Shopping Mall offering variety of Indian merchandize which can be ordered all over the world or it can be gifted within India to your dear ones as well as gifted to any country of your choice with an exception in few products. The site consists of several departments like Men's, Women's and Kid's Apparel, Leather Accessories, Mithais(Sweets), Sports Goods, Music and Video collection, Indian Antiques and Handicrafts, Groceries, Cakes & Chocolates, Bouquets and Greetings, Toys and many more..

2. What are the Items I can send as gifts?

Gifting can be done globally and especially at all India level or within Chennai alone. Few Mithais can be sent as gifts within Chennai or at all India level only, this attribute of certain products will be prominently displayed along with the product information on the relevant page. Similarly, Bouquets can be sent anywhere within India alone. Apart from few of these exceptional products most of them can be either bought online or can be delivered as gift depending upon your choice and preferences.

4. Whether I can purchase the products displayed on the site anywhere from the world?

Yes, except the few products that are deliverable only in Chennai and all India level. Rest all products can be purchased from any where in the world. And the same shall be delivered depending up on the place you are residing or the place you want it to be sent.

5. I am not able to view the product I shopped just now ?

This situation arises when the product runs out of stock. The product gets removed automatically so as to prevent ordering of the item which is out of stock.

6. Post@India !! What is this? Is it an e-mail solution?

No, it's not an e-mail solution. It's a unique service offered by Chennaiplaza.com free of cost only to its patrons who can send letters through us. All you have to do is type in Sender's, recipient's address, then the message, and select the appropriate language in which the Letter has to be delivered to the recipient by snail mail anywhere in India. At present Chennaiplaza.com can translate letters from English and send them either in English itself or Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.

7. Why Should I register?

What are the benefits on registration? Well, Registration has several benefits. It gives the registered users benefits like Order Tracking System, Address Book, Regular updates about the latest products and various offers available at Chennaiplaza.com. That is, once if the user keys in his details he needn't repeat the process in future. When he logs in future with proper User ID, password and commits certain purchases his/her Personal information will be automatically loaded in the billing information thereby relieving him from entering the same information repetitively.

This option is available only to the Registered Users. In the home page's menu bar choose the link "PERSONALIZE" which will appear only when the registered user logs in. Click on the "Personalize" option where you can personalize Chennaiplaza.com for you. Now, Click on "EDIT PROFILE" option to modify your personal details.

9. I forgot my Password. What Should I do?

No problem, its easy to find it out. Click on "Forgot Password?" link inside the login box, which can be found. You will be asked the answer for the Hint question, which you entered during User Registration process. You have to enter the correct answer. Once this is done we'll display your password. If you don't remember the answer for the Hint question, then send a mail to us at info@chennaiplaza.com. We will contact you with proper solution.

10. I need some 'More clarification', whom should I contact? Do you have any Customer Care Program?

Of course, we have a full-featured Customer Cell, which you can see in all the pages. Click on customer cell option to get into it. We have a message Board system where you can post your suggestions, Complaints and queries.

11. How the items in Chennaiplaza.com are categorized?

Basically all the Products are placed into separate departments. They are categorized based on the co-relation. For Eg. Women's Collection consists of all the products, which are basically meant for Ladies viz. sarees, Chudidars, Ladies Ethnic Wear like Latchas, Lehangas, other Accessories. Thus the User can find their stuff based on the relativity of the product with the department. Each department consists of Categories, these in turn consists of Sub-categories, within which the items are placed. This hierarchy may not be present in all the departments but in few ones only depending upon the nature of the Products.

12. My order has not been delivered on time. What's the reason?

Please first check up the delivery time specified for the item(s) you selected. In case the order is not accomplished within such time then kindly mail us about your order at queries@chennaiplaza.com. We shall investigate such delay, report you the reason and see to it that your order accomplished without any further delay. But in case of any unforeseen problems resulting from the courier company will not be Chennaiplaza's responsibility.

13. My delivery destination is not shown in your delivery zones. Will it be possible for you to meet my requirement?

Please inform us about your requirement and the destination, which is not found in our delivery zones, prior to three business days at queries@chennaiplaza.com we will try to find out whether this zone can be delivered or not.

14. Can I cancel or modify my order?

Once a valid order is placed with us, it can be cancelled or modified within 6 hours of placing the order with out deduction for processing charge. A mail has to be immediately sent to sales@chennaiplaza.com for cancellation or modification of order with the invoice number. Cancellation after 6 hours of placing the order will be done only on deduction of 10% of the total order value. No dispute should be raised over this deduction and should be agreed by the customer as terms of use of the website.

15. Can I get items that are not available on Chennaiplaza.com, which I would like procure through Chennaiplaza.com?

Yes, You can post your requirement by providing the required information in the customized product link. We will try our level best to execute your valuable order, which you will be intimated via E-Mail. Your product shall be included in the department where from you will be able to do the shopping.

16. How do I complete my shopping?

Once you complete your selection of items, Click the checkout button. You can view your shopping details here and confirm whether the selected items are appearing in you shopping cart or not. Once these are fine, fill up your billing information if it is other than already appearing from your registration details and the relevant shipping information. Please go through some important points and Terms of use. Once you are in agreement with them click the Continue button. Now all the details of shopping like Items selected, Billing, shipping are shown for final confirmation. If everything is fine click Pay and finish button and complete the payment. This is the way your shopping gets completed.
